Fusing press operator wanted in Davidson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Davidson County, North Carolina. The job is in a busy laundry. Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
