Port container crane operator — Mohave County

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Mohave County, Arizona. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Day to day you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
