Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Fleming County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Day to day you will check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
