Great opportunity: tile mason (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile mason in Edwards County, Illinois. You will be based on a commercial fit-out project. Day-to-day duties: • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls Ideal candidate: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
