Tile mason — Knox County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tile mason in Knox County, Tennessee. Ideal candidate: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes The role involves grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
