Bodyshop painter — Decatur County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bodyshop painter in Decatur County, Tennessee. The job is at a dealership paint shop. You should have: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day-to-day duties: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
