Fusing press operator • DeKalb County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fusing press operator in DeKalb County, Indiana. Day-to-day duties: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Six days a week, one day off.
