Vacuum press operator — Sullivan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Sullivan County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
