Scaffolding labourer — Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on an industrial refinery shutdown. On a typical shift you will inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
