Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Harrison County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs The role involves: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
