Bar bender and fixer — Egbeda

Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Egbeda, Oyo State. Your main tasks: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
