Immediate opening: furnace operator (Lagos State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furnace operator in Ojo, Lagos State. You will work on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. ₦7,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
