Gantry crane operator — Zaria

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Zaria, Kaduna State. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
