MIG welder — Jefferson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG welder in Jefferson County, Tennessee. The job is at an automobile body shop. You will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
