Sewing machine operator — Kirfi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Kirfi, Bauchi State. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
