Vacancy available: power float operator (Northern Ireland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power float operator in Armagh City Banbridge and Craigavon, Northern Ireland. The job is on a road and bridge project. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Your main tasks: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Pay around £125 per day, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
