On a typical shift you will escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches.
