Vacancy available: VMC operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Borough of Bury, England. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to grind and set HSS cutters The role involves: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
