Elevator technician — Barnwell County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator technician in Barnwell County, South Carolina. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. On a typical shift you will service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; run load and overload tests with test weights; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. What we are looking for: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
