Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Jackson County, Michigan. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Part-time with flexible hours.
