Bar bender and fixer — Waupaca County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Waupaca County, Wisconsin. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing The role involves fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman.
