Aluminium tig welder — Webster County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Webster County, Nebraska. On the job you will handle: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $18 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
