Heavy equipment operator wanted in Hamilton County

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Hamilton County, Kansas. You will work in an open-cast mine. What we are looking for: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Your main tasks: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
