Immediate opening: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Sioux County, Iowa. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch Requirements: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges 2+ years on the tools preferred.
