Precision welder wanted in Pulaski County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Pulaski County, Virginia. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day-to-day duties: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Performance bonus on top of base pay.
