360 excavator operator • Putnam County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Putnam County, New York. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Requirements: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs The role involves: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
