Sewing machine operator • Gashaka, Taraba State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Gashaka, Taraba State. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
