Plastering hand — Loudon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plastering hand in Loudon County, Tennessee. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish On the job you will handle: • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
