Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Cook County, Minnesota. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls On the job you will handle: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square Six days a week, one day off.
