Great opportunity: we are hiring a bench joiner in Ray County, Missouri. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. The role involves: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
