Gantry crane operator — Trinity County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Trinity County, California. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Understanding of hand and radio signals Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
