Join our team: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Custer County, Montana. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day-to-day duties: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
