Tig welder — Hancock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Hancock County, Mississippi. You will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
