You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
