Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Ndokwa East, Delta State. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Day-to-day duties: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Full-time with occasional weekends.
