Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Forrest County, Mississippi. You will work at a renovation and extension job. You should have: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Your main tasks: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder We offer $160 per day plus benefits.
