Head butcher — Blaine County

Join our team: we are hiring a head butcher in Blaine County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; season and marinate meat on request; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
