Materials handling operator • Val Verde County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a materials handling operator in Val Verde County, Texas. You will be based at a freight and logistics depot. Day-to-day duties: • Charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely • Top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains • Log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book • Pick and put away stock against pick lists and the RF scanner • Keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit • Load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers What we are looking for: • Willing to wear steel toe-cap boots and hi-vis • Comfortable working in cold store or chilled areas • Minimum 1-2 years' warehouse forklift experience Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
