Brickwork mason • Douglas County, Wisconsin

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Douglas County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a residential building site. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Your main tasks: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits.
