Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Banner County, Nebraska. The role involves float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish 6+ years on the tools preferred.
