Machine operator (earthworks) — Howard County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Howard County, Missouri. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. Day to day you will clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Part-time with flexible hours.
