Vacancy available: GMAW welder (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Waller County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
