Tower crane operator • McLean County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in McLean County, Illinois. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. You will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience.
