Fusing press operator — Tripp County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Tripp County, South Dakota. You will work at a garment factory. The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
