Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in McCook County, South Dakota. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
