Rigger wanted in Benton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigger in Benton County, Iowa. You will be based at a container port. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit 4+ years on the tools preferred.
