Concrete finisher • Polk County, Oregon

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Polk County, Oregon. You will work in a residential housing project. On a typical shift you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
