Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Gateshead, England. The job is in a toolroom. On a typical shift you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
