Punch press operator wanted in Floyd County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in Floyd County, Virginia. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg The role involves: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Overtime paid at a premium rate.
