Sewing machine operator wanted in Wallowa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Wallowa County, Oregon. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Six days a week, one day off.
